Bloom began with a simple belief:
what we bring into our homes matters.

Jennifer Thacker (founder and owner), a mom, grandmother, and longtime healthcare professional — spent years seeing firsthand how everyday ingredients affect our bodies, our skin, and our overall well-being. She became passionate about wellness, desiring products that genuinely supported health and quality of life, not compromised it. She wanted a space where families could find better options without guesswork.

Her daughter, Katherine Embry, walked her own health journey. As a mom of three, she became deeply aware of product safety when her middle son experienced mold illness and severe eczema as an infant. Suddenly, every detergent, soap, lotion, and cleaner mattered more. Reading labels became non-negotiable, and exhausting. She recognized the need in Louisville, KY for a place where families could shop confidently, without researching every ingredient.

THEN CAME BLOOM Market & refillery:
a local space where families can refill everyday essentials, discover small-batch makers, browse a collection of thoughtful gifts for the ones they love, and slow down long enough to actually enjoy their in-person shopping experience.

Bloom is curated through one filter:
Would we feel good bringing this into our own home?

Every product earns its spot on the shelf.
Ingredients are clean.
Makers are thoughtful.
And intentional living becomes simple — not overwhelming.

Welcome to Bloom.
