FAQs
01. What is Bloom?
Bloom is Louisville’s small goods market + refillery — a cozy space to shop clean products, discover new makers, refill everyday essentials, browse slowly, and feel at home.
We choose products that are thoughtful for home, body, and family — because what we bring home matters.
02. Do I have to refill something to shop here?
Not at all.
Many customers shop gifts, skincare, home goods, tea, or small-batch local items without refilling a thing. Refilling is an option — not a requirement.
03. What kinds of products do you carry?
We curate products that are:
ingredient-conscious (no hidden fragrances or harsh chemicals)
made by small/local makers whenever possible
beautiful, functional, and meant to last
You’ll find everyday essentials, home goods, tea, skincare, baby + family items, gifts, and seasonal products.
04. Do you take product requests?
Please.
This is your neighborhood store — we grow based on what you need.
Request products, brands, or local makers anytime in-store or through our suggestion form.
05. Will you host workshops or community classes?
Yes — think DIY skincare nights, zero-waste swaps, tea tastings, etc.
Sign up for our newsletter or drop your idea in the suggestion form.
06. How does refilling work?
Simple:
Bring any clean, dry container (or purchase one in-store).
We weigh it.
You fill what you need.
We weigh again and you pay for just the product inside.
No minimums, no pressure.
07. Can I bring any container?
Yes — mason jars, old lotion bottles, salsa jars… as long as it’s clean, dry, and has a lid. If you don’t have something you love at home, we have plenty of beautiful glass containers you can choose to purchase in-store.
(Because Bloom believes reusing what you already have is the most sustainable option.)
08. Are kids welcome?
Absolutely.
We built a kids’ play area on purpose — because parents deserve to shop slowly, too.
09. Can I sample tea or coffee while I shop?
Yes. We always have tea or Seven Weeks coffee available to sample — shopping should feel cozy.
10. Are your products “clean”?
Yes. We carefully vet every brand for ingredients and transparency.
Most products are fragrance-free or scented only with essential oils — no greenwashing here.
